as i have mentioned before, the most beautiful formula one cars were made at the end of the 60s ... in my opinion anyway ... i just found a fantastic piece of art depicting the gurney eagle ... one of the most beautiful grand prix cars ever built, the eagle won the 1967 “race of champions” at brands hatch and also the grand prix of belgium in 1967 ... the first, and so far, only victory for an american in an american grand prix car in the modern era ...
