and another fantastic piece of german craftsmanship ... the porsche 550 spyder ... that's the car james dean managed to kill himself in ... it was porsche's first real race car ... it was so low to the ground, that former german formula 1 racer hans herrmann drove it under closed railroad crossing gates during the 1954 "mille miglia" ...
